The Evangelical Lutheran , listed church Rückersdorf is located in the community of Rückersdorf in the Greiz district of Thuringia . The parish Rückersdorf belongs to the parish area Ronneburg in the church district Altenburger Land of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

The neo-Gothic hall church was built in 1902. The yoke protruding like a transept in the east and the late Gothic , vaulted , polygonal choir were taken over from the previous building. A bulbous dome has been sitting on the octagonal choir tower since 1791 , crowned with a lantern that ends with a tower ball . The nave is provided with buttresses and covered with a gable roof.

The interior has three-sided galleries from 1902. On the east side of the nave there is a late Gothic Man of Sorrows . The organ with 17 registers , divided into 2 manuals and pedal , was built in 1907 by Adam Eifert .
