The Evangelical-Lutheran listed churchzimmer is in Zimmer , a community in the Saale-Holzland district of Thuringia . The church parish Zimmer belongs to the parish association Vierzehnheiligen of the Jena West region in the parish of Jena of the Evangelical Church in Central Germany .

After the church was destroyed in 1759, a new hall church was built from rubble stones in 1797 . It has a choir tower on a square floor plan . Three church bells hang in it , the oldest was cast by Melchior Moeringk from Erfurt in 1594. The church received the segmental arched windows during a renovation in 1863. The interior has galleries on three sides , and two-storey on the long sides. The eastern part of the choir is divided by a ribbon of windows , interrupted by the pulpit . The organ with 14 registers , divided into 2 manuals and pedal , was built before 1850 by an unknown organ builder .
