The Evangelical Church District Badischer Enzkreis (until February 14, 2020 Pforzheim-Land (also Evangelical Dean's Office Badischer Enzkreis )) is one of 24 church districts or deaneries of the Evangelical Church in Baden . It belongs to the parish of North Baden and comprises 16 parishes that are located in the Baden part of the Enzkreis in a semicircle around Pforzheim - starting in the southwest with Langenalb via Bauschlott in the north to Öschelbronn in the east. The church parishes of the church district Badischer Enzkreis have the rights of a corporation under public law . A parish council is elected every six years in the respective parishes. This administers the parish together with the supervising pastor. The parishes receive allocations from the Evangelical Church in Baden in accordance with the statutory provisions on financial equalization. The parishes united in the church district Badischer Enzkreis support each other in common tasks such as youth, women and men work, in church music and diakonia, in adult education, mission and ecumenism as well as in the service of preachers. Together with the Württemberg church districts of Neuenbürg and Mühlacker , it maintains the joint Diakonieverband Enzkreis.
