Parish Gemen (also Gemen-Parish ) is a district of Borken in the same circuit and consists of the Bauerschaften Gemenkrückling and Gemen keepers . Until 1969, the parish of Gemen was a rural community in the district of Gemen-Weseke of the old district of Borken and was thenincorporated into the town of Borkenby the law on the reorganization of communities in the district of Borken . At the beginning of 2006 the parish had 595 inhabitants, of which 170 were Gemenkrückling and 425 Gemenwirthe.
