The Kirschberg is a mountain in the northwestern Odenwald, northwest of Waschenbach .
description
The 298.0 m high Kirschberg in the Mühltal district is heavily forested. Immediately north of the Kirschberg is the "Gickelsberg". The K 138 "Obere Kreisstraße" / "Untere Kreisstraße" and the Waschenbach run along the eastern edge . To the west of the mountain is the hamlet In der Mordach . The Mordach rises on the western slope of the Kirschberg .

etymology
Old High German kirs , kirsa and Middle High German kerse , kirse , kirsche with the meaning of cherry . Plots and paths planted with cherry trees gave it its name.
