Kishor Helmar Sridhar (born October 16, 1972 in Marl ) is a German management consultant , publicist , author and lecturer.

Life

As the child of an Indian scientist and a German office clerk, Kishor Sridhar grew up primarily in Germany. After a long stay in India and subsequent Abitur in Germany, he studied civil engineering with a diploma at the Technical University of Berlin and then completed his MBA in Leadership Excellence at the University of Nebraska . Kishor Sridhar worked in Russia for several years. He now lives in Munich with his wife and three children .

Sridhar assumes that the belief in rational action is one of the greatest errors of modern management and that companies that want to be successful in the long term should take human psychology into account in all business processes. His work focuses on cross-departmental cooperation, sales strategies and negotiation. Sridhar combines findings from behavioral psychology with corporate processes and sales strategies. In his work he differentiates between negative manipulation, i.e. an influence according to which one emerges as a factual winner and one as a loser, and positive influence, which he defines as a psychological change in the situation for mutual benefit.

As a freelance columnist, Sridhar also analyzes and comments on the argumentation and negotiation tactics of leading politicians in crisis situations. He also deals with German-Russian relations, taking behavioral psychology into account. From 2011 to 2014, Kishor Sridhar analyzed and commented on DW-Trend by Deutsche Welle , an economic policy survey barometer on German-Russian and German-Ukrainian relations.

Lecturer

Sridhar is a lecturer in the "HSG Further Education Diploma in Sales Management " at WINGS University of Wismar .

He also teaches Leadership & Motivation at the International School of Management (Munich).
