Kitzenhofen is a district of Langquaid , a market in Hallertau in the Lower Bavarian district of Kelheim in Bavaria .

The place is south of the core town of Langquaid. Not far to the west of the village the Große Laber flows and the state road 2143 runs .

In the list of architectural monuments in Langquaid , two architectural monuments are listed for Kitzenhofen :

  • The early Gothic Catholic Church of St. Wolfgang (Kitzenhofen 10), a hall church closed on three sides with a gable roof , dates from the second half of the 13th century. The baroque expansion took place in the 18th century. The north-facing flank tower with a pointed helmet was probably built in 1909.
  • The pigeon house in the middle of a three-sided courtyard (Kitzenhofen 6) probably dates from 1867. It is a central building with a central tower. The painting on wood represents stone architecture.
