Donald W. Smith (born April 7, 1968 in North Tonawanda ) is a retired American rower .

biography

Donald Smith was world champion with the US eighth in 1994 and won the bronze medal in 1993 and 1995 . At the Pan American Games in 1995 he won the gold medal with Fredric Honebein with the eighth and two-man without a helmsman . In 1996, he took in the Summer Olympic Games in Atlanta in the aft part, however, the boat finished only fifth, remaining without a medal. Four years later at the Olympic Games in Sydney he started in the single , where he finished eighth.
