Klara Lukan (born September 8, 2000 ) is a Slovenian athlete who competes in medium and long-distance running .

Athletic career

Klara Lukan gained her first international experience in 2017 when she reached the semi -finals in the 800-meter run at the U18 World Championships in Nairobi , where she was eliminated with 2: 15.51 minutes. The following year she failed at the U20 World Championships in Tampere with 2: 10.08 min in the lead over 800 meters and also in the 1500-meter run she was eliminated with 4: 26.43 min in the first round. In 2019 she won the U20 European Championships in Borås, Sweden with a new U23 national record of 16: 03.62 minutes and in December she won the silver medal in the U20 class at the European Cross Country Championships in Lisbon after 14:01 minutes.

In 2019 Lukan became Slovenian indoor champion in the 3000 meter run .
