Klaus-Dieter Uelhoff (born January 9, 1936 in Finnentrop ) is a German lawyer and politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After graduating from high school in Attendorn in 1955 , Uelhoff began studying law, political science and history at the universities in Bonn and Cologne , which he completed with two state examinations and a doctorate in Dr. jur. finished. He then worked in the state social welfare office and in the social ministry of Rhineland-Palatinate , most recently as a senior government councilor. Later he was President of the Society for Defense and Security Policy and President of the Rhineland-Palatinate Regional Association of the German Red Cross (DRK). He is also an honorary member of the KDSt.V. Merowingia Kaiserslautern and the KDSt.V. Vasgovia Landau in the CV .

Uelhoff was a member of the Palatinate District Assembly from 1974 to 1979 . He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1987 to 1998. In parliament he represented the constituency of Pirmasens .

Public offices

Uelhoff had been the district administrator of the Pirmasens district since 1972 . From 1979 to 1985 he was State Secretary in the Ministry of the Interior and for Sport and from 1985 to 1987 as State Secretary in the Ministry for Environment and Health of the State of Rhineland-Palatinate .
