Susanne Ganster
Susanne Ganster (born December 29, 1976 in Landau ) is a German politician ( CDU ). She was a member of the Rhineland-Palatinate state parliament from 2011 to 2017 . Since October 2017 she has been a district administrator in the Southwest Palatinate .
Life and work
Susanne Ganster attended the Eduard-Spranger-Gymnasium in Landau, where she graduated from high school in 1996. From 1996 to 2001 she studied Catholic theology at Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz with a diploma. She also studied German from 1997 to 2001 . She received her PhD in 2012 in Canon Law, Ecclesiastical History of Law and State Church Law at Heribert Haller man at the University of Würzburg Dr. theol. After her academic work at Johannes Gutenberg University, she headed the Heilsbach educational and leisure center in Schönau (Palatinate) from 2006 to 2011 .
From 1992 to 1994 she also trained as a C church musician at the Episcopal Church Music Institute, Diocese of Speyer.
She is married and has a daughter.
politics
Ganster joined the CDU in 2001. In 2009 she became a member of the district council of Southwest Palatinate. Since 2010 she has been chairwoman of the CDU parliamentary group there. She has been a member of the district board of the CDU Südwestpfalz since 2010.
In the state election on March 27, 2011, she was a direct candidate for the CDU for the constituency of Pirmasens-Land (47). She was elected to the state parliament via the CDU state list. In the state elections on March 13, 2016, she won the direct mandate.
She was a member of the Committee on Science, Continuing Education and Culture and the Committee on Equality and the Advancement of Women. Ganster was the spokeswoman for her parliamentary group for gender equality and the advancement of women and the CDU parliamentary group's representative for churches and religious communities as well as for continuing education. On October 1, 2017, she left the state parliament. Your successor is Christof Reichert .
In the district election in the district of Südwestpfalz on May 7, 2017, she was elected district administrator with 53.8% of the votes. She took up office on October 1, 2017.
