Klaus Lindinger

Klaus Lindinger (born October 22, 1988 in Wels , Upper Austria ) is an Austrian politician of the Austrian People's Party (ÖVP). He was sworn in as a member of the National Council on November 9, 2017 .

Life

Klaus Lindinger attended the HTL Wels , where he graduated in 2008 . After military service in the military band of Upper Austria, he worked as a technical draftsman operates. In 2012 he began a bachelor's degree in agricultural sciences in Vienna , which he completed in 2015 with a Bachelor of Science degree. In 2016, a subsequent master’s degree in agriculture and food management began. From 2014 to 2016 he was the district manager of ÖVP Upper Austria .

In 2019 he was elected Deputy Chairman of the Upper Austrian Young Farmers 'Union , the youth section of the Upper Austrian Farmers' Union .

He has been a member of the Fischlham parish council since September 2009 , where he has also been the young farmer's chairman since 2014. Since 2010 he has been a member of the Provincial Board of Young ÖVP (JVP) Upper Austria. In September 2017, he replaced Walter Aichinger as district party leader of the ÖVP in the Wels-Land district . In the 2017 National Council election , he ran for the Hausruckviertel regional constituency . On November 9, 2017, he was sworn in as a member of the National Council, where he is a member of the Environment Committee, the Agriculture and Forestry Committee, the Sports Committee, the Standing Subcommittee of the Budget Committee and the Rules Committee.

In the 2019 National Council election , he was first in the ÖVP list in the Hausruckviertel regional constituency.
