Career

Klaus Ondera wore Borussia Dortmund's black and yellow jersey during the 1972/73 season , scoring six goals in 27 Regionalliga West games. Borussia Dortmund finished the season in fourth place after being relegated from the Bundesliga a year earlier . In the 1974/75 season he then played for Wormatia Worms in the newly founded 2. Bundesliga and came to 32 games that season and scored two goals.

From there only six months later, he returned to the German league for SpVgg Bad Pyrmont . Another six months later he moved from Pyrmont to Switzerland for FC Schaffhausen . A year later he returned from Schaffhausen to Germany to FC Singen 04 , where he stayed for a year and a half. Klaus Ondera then came from Singen to FC Glarus , where he was part of the promotion team from the 3rd division to the 2nd division in the 1981/82 season . After his engagement at FC Glarus, he switched to FC Zollikon as a player- coach .
