Klaus Schmid-Burgk

Klaus Schmid-Burgk (born July 22, 1913 in Weimar ; † March 8, 1984 in Hamburg ) was a German lawyer and politician ( CDU ).

Life and work

After graduation in 1931 at the high school in Weimar Schmid-Burgk began studying law and economics, which he in 1935 with the graduation to the Dr. jur. and graduated in 1939 with the second state examination in law. He then worked as a research assistant at the universities in Jena and Berlin . From 1939 to 1947 he held positions in Weimar economic organizations and industrial companies, and from 1947 he was employed as in-house counsel for the Hamburg Chamber of Commerce and Industry .

Schmidt-Burgk was a member of the Hamburg Parliament from 1961 to 1966 . He was a member of the German Bundestag from 1965 to 1972. He entered parliament in both electoral terms via the Hamburg state list.
