Klaus von Stosch
Klaus von Stosch (born September 15, 1971 in Cologne ) is a German Roman Catholic theologian and has been a professor of systematic theology in Paderborn since 2008 .
Life
After finishing school, Stosch studied Catholic theology from 1991 to 1997 at the University of Bonn and the University of Freiburg in Switzerland. In 2001 he did his doctorate in dogmatics with Karl-Heinz Menke . In 2005 he completed his habilitation with Jürgen Werbick at the University of Münster for fundamental theology . Stosch has been Professor of Systematic Theology and its Didactics at the University of Paderborn since the 2008/2009 winter semester . From 2007 to 2008 Stosch was a member of the Young College of the North Rhine-Westphalian Academy of Sciences and Arts. Stosch was instrumental in founding the Center for Comparative Theology and Cultural Studies at the University of Paderborn .
Research stays led von Stosch to the Center for the Study of World Religions at the US Harvard Divinity School and to the University of Religions and Denominations in Qom, Iran .
Private
Stosch is married and has four children.
