Klein Ippensen is a district of the village of Ippensen in the municipality of Vierden in the Rotenburg (Wümme) district in Lower Saxony .

Klein Ippensen is about 1 km from Groß Ippensen . The Kuhbach, a small river that flows from Wohnste to Kuhmühlen and flows into the Oste, flows between the two villages .

The Klein Ippensen landscape is characterized by arable land and grassland . In Klein Ippensens Feldmark there is also a moor and an approx. 85 acre wooded area. Conifers such as spruce , pine and larch sometimes grow here .
The nature reserve swamp porst grows on the field mark border between Klein Ippensen and Sellhorn . Wild orchids also grow.
