The source is a pseudobifurcation. The northern part also flows over the Großer Landgraben into the Tollense. |
The Kleine Landgraben near Altentreptow in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania is located in a glacial valley , is 16 km long, has two directions of flow and mouths. It is fed by lateral tributaries and has a pseudobifurcation in the apex area . It bears its name because the state border of Mecklenburg-Strelitz ran here.
About half of the water flows southwest and flows south of Altentreptow 8.9 m above sea level into the Tollense ( 53 ° 39 '45.4 "N, 13 ° 16' 6.3" E ). The flow direction is unclear for the subsequent quarter of the route. The northernmost quarter has a steeper gradient and joins about 7 m above sea level with the Landgraben ( 53 ° 45 '6.5 "N, 13 ° 25' 6.5" E ) and its parallel middle ditch to the Great Landgraben , which is near the castle Klempenow flows into the Tollense.
The nature reserves Waidmannslust wetland , Landgrabenwiesen near Werder and owner peat meadows are located in the valley of the Kleiner Landgraben.
