Celldömölk small area

The small area Celldömölk ( Hungarian Celldömölki kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within Vas County in Western Transdanubia until the end of 2012 . As part of the administrative reform at the beginning of 2013, all 28 localities were completely transferred to the Celldömölk district (in Hungarian Celldömölki járás ).

At the end of 2012 there were 24,787 inhabitants in an area of ​​474.13 km². The population density was 52 inhabitants / km² below the county average.

The administrative seat was in the only city Celldömölk (11.156 Ew.). The second most populous place was the large municipality ( nagyközség ) Jánosháza (2.553 Ew.)
