Vasvár small area

The small area Vasvár ( Hungarian Vasvári kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within Vas County until the end of 2012 . During the administrative reform of 2013 the small area did not experience any changes in the structure, all 23 localities were completely taken over into the successor district Vasvár (Hungarian Vasvári járás ).

Population

At the end of 2012, 13,623 people lived in an area of ​​374.14 km². The population density was 36, about half that of the county.

The administrative seat was in the only city Vasvár (4,387 Ew.). The 22 other villages had an average population of 420.
