Őriszentpéter small area

The small area Őriszentpéter ( Hungarian Őriszentpéteri kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within Vas county until the end of 2012 . In the course of the administrative reform, 21 localities were transferred to the district of Körmendi (Hungarian. Körmendi járás ) at the beginning of 2013 , only the village of Kondorfa came to the district of Szentgotthárd ( Szentgotthárdi járás ).

At the end of 2012 there were 6,412 inhabitants on an area of ​​305.23 km². The small area with the least population therefore also had the lowest population density (21) in the county.

The administrative seat was in the only city Őriszentpéter (1.189 Ew.). The remaining 21 rural communities had an average of 249 inhabitants.
