Csepreg small area

The small area of Csepreg ( Hungarian Csepregi kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within Vas County in Western Transdanubia until the end of 2012 . It was dissolved in early 2013 as part of the administrative reform. The two cities Bük and Csepreg as well as four other localities (together 7.502 Ew.) Came in the district Kőszeg (Hungarian. Kőszegi járás ), while ten localities (together 3.141 Ew.) Came in the district Sárvár (Hungarian. Sárvári járás ).

At the end of 2012 there were 10,643 inhabitants in an area of ​​184.86 km². The smallest small area in terms of area was below the county average with a population density of 58.

The administrative seat was in the city of Csepreg (3.275 Ew.), The most populous was the city of Bük (3.454 Ew.). The 14 remaining rural communities had an average population of 280.

The municipality of Hegyfalu also belonged to the Csepreg small area until 2007, but was then assigned to the Sárvár small area .
