Szaknyér is a Hungarian municipality in the Körmend district in Vas County . In terms of population and area, it is the smallest municipality in the district.
Geographical location
Szaknyér is nine kilometers northeast of the town of Őriszentpéter , on the Szentjakabi-patak river . Neighboring communities are Hegyhátszentjakab, Őrimagyarósd and Viszák.
