Kistelek small area

The small area Kistelek ( Hungarian Kisteleki kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within the Csongrád county in the southern Great Plain until the end of 2012 . In the course of the administrative reform of 2013, all six localities were transferred to the Kistelek district ( Kisteleki járás in Hungarian ).

18,429 inhabitants lived in an area of ​​410.20 km². The small area had the lowest number of inhabitants and the lowest population density (45 inhabitants / km²) in the county.

The administrative seat was the only city, Kistelek (7.138 Ew.).
