Small area Hódmezővásárhely
The small area Hódmezővásárhely ( Hungarian Hódmezővásárhelyi kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within the Csongrád county in the southern Great Plain until the end of 2012 . In the course of the administrative reform of 2013, all four localities were transferred to the Hódmezővásárhely (Hungarian Hódmezővásárhelyi járás ) district.
At the end of 2012, 56,174 people lived in an area of 707.77 km². The population density was 79 inhabitants / km².
The administrative seat was in the city of Hódmezővásárhely , which also had county rights ( Megyei jogú város ).
Localities
The small area was divided into
- two cities Hódmezővásárhely (45.700 Ew.) and Mindszent (6.990 Ew.)
- two parishes: Mártély and Székkutas
