Nagyatád small area

The small area Nagyatád ( Hungarian Nagyatádi kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit (LAU 1) within Somogy County in southern Transdanubia until the end of 2012. In the course of the administrative reform, at the beginning of 2013 all localities were completely transferred to the Nagyatád district ( Nagyatádi járás in Hungarian ).

At the end of 2012, 26,100 people lived in an area of ​​647.07 km². The population density was 40 inhabitants / km² below the county average.

The administrative seat was in the only city, Nagyatád (10.921 Ew.).
