Tarany is a Hungarian community in the district Nagyatád in Somogy county .
Geographical location
Tarany is eight kilometers southwest of the city of Nagyatád .

Attractions
In Tarany there is the Roman Catholic Church Keresztelő Szent János , which was built in 1763 in the Baroque style. In the church you can see frescoes by Stephan Dorfmeister .
The wine of Tarany is famous, it is called Bunček . The Buncek Festival is held every year.
