Pannonhalma small area
The small area Pannonhalma ( Hungarian Pannonhalmi kistérség ) was a Hungarian administrative unit ( LAU 1) within the Győr-Moson-Sopron county in western Transdanubia until the end of 2012 . In the course of the administrative reform of 2013, 17 localities were transferred to the following Pannonhalma district (Hungarian Pannonhalmi járás ), the municipality of Győrság (1,458 inhabitants) was assigned to the Győr district .
The small area was the least populated at the end of 2012 (16,980 Ew. = 3.8%) and also had the smallest area (320.54 km² = 7.6%) in the county. With 53 inhabitants / km² the population density was about half of the county average.
The administrative seat was in the only city Pannonhalma (3.890 Ew.).
