Kleinstadtbahnhof (second season: “Neues vom Kleinstadtbahnhof”) is a German family series that ran from April 14, 1972 to July 27, 1973 in the ARD's evening program . It is about the everyday life of the Henning family, who live in a fictional town in Schleswig-Holstein .

action

The series takes place in the small town of Lüttin. Gustav Henning and his wife Hanne run a train station restaurant there. Gustav is a cook and used to work in the dining car of the Federal Railroad. The Hennings have two grown children: Wolfgang, who is giving up his medical studies in Hamburg because he cannot see blood and is returning to Lüttin, and Uschi, who is a kindergarten teacher and is expecting a child.

In the individual episodes, events are told that are often related to rail travel, with the development of the Henning family forming the continuous framework story.

Christa Stern wrote the script for the series. Directed by Wolfgang Bellenbaum under the pseudonyms Hans-Joachim Wiedermann and Jochen Wiedermann.

The filming locations for the fictional "Lüttin" were Plön and the local train station.

The television series Die Schule am See , also filmed 25 years later in Plön , also plays in “Lüttin”.
