Wolfram Schaerf (born June 29, 1922 in Berlin ; † April 24, 1992 in Hamburg ) was a German actor , director and voice actor .

Life

Born in Berlin, Schaerf first completed his acting training in Wernigerode and then played on numerous stages in his hometown over the years. From 1953 to 1961 he was part of the ensemble of the Deutsches Theater in Berlin before moving to the Federal Republic in 1961. Stage engagements followed, including in Frankfurt, Berlin, at the Hamburger Kammerspiele and at various touring theaters. He worked both as an actor and as a director , mainly staging tabloids.

As early as 1950, Schaerf made his feature film debut in the DEFA production Semmelweis - Retter der Mütter, alongside Karl Paryla and Camilla Spira . His other films include Robert A.
