Klengan (born November 8, 1995 , real name Timon ) is a German-speaking web video producer .
At the end of 2012 he began publishing so-called Let's Play videos on the Internet platform YouTube . In 2016 he changed his content, whereupon he dealt mainly in satirical form with current events from the areas of social media and YouTube as well as their personalities .

His YouTube channel was launched on August 26, 2012 under the name Kl3ngan , here the number 3 in Leetspeak style symbolized the letter E. He later changed the spelling to Klengan in order to clear up misunderstandings with the pronunciation. In December 2012, he published the first YouTube videos in the Let's Play format . He played the open-world video game Minecraft while commenting on it, talking about current topics or answering questions. Later he occasionally produced these with guests such as Rewinside , AviveHD or BrokenThumbs . During the first half of 2016, Klengan devoted himself increasingly to playing indie games or browser games.
Realignment with a focus on satire
From summer 2016, fewer or no videos of the Let's Play format followed, which he justified in an interview with Tomekk with the development of YouTube. He commented on current trends and worked them up in formats such as oracles and AsiTube in a humorous and satirical way. These videos recorded several million clicks for the first time. In addition, there were reactions to Internet memes and comments as well as parodies .

On January 2, 2020, Klengan announced the opening of the second channel KlengansMinecraftPalace . The first video also appeared there at the same time. The published works were based on sarcastically processed Let's Play formats. After a few weeks Klengan stopped the activity again.

Since January 29, 2020, Klengan has also been running the podcast 42 - THE film podcast in collaboration with the German YouTuber Marcel Hoppe alias Tinnendo . This was about a fictional YouTuber who shared his experiences as a web video producer and the reactions of family, friends and fans. The book occasionally reached number 17 on the bestseller list of Der Spiegel magazine and number eight on the Börsenblatt book charts . On April 27, 2020, Klengan published “Lübbe Audio”, the audio book publisher, if you know you - stories of an influencer as an audio book . He read this in himself.
