The Knöpfelbach is a right tributary of the Störzelbach in the central Franconian district of Weißenburg-Gunzenhausen .

course

The Knöpfelbach rises at an altitude of 498  m above sea level. NN north of Theilenhofen not far from the district road WUG 2 and east of the Roman fort Theilenhofen . The stream flows steadily in a south-westerly direction and crosses a wide open landscape . It feeds several ponds and has no tributaries. The Knöpfelbach crosses under the federal highway 13 , then district road WUG 3 and flows shortly afterwards after a run of about 3.1 kilometers at an altitude of 447  m above sea level. NN on the southwestern outskirts of Stopfenheim from the right into the Störzelbach.
