Knut Schaflinger

Knut Schaflinger (born May 22, 1951 in Graz ) is an Austrian writer.

life and work

After childhood and youth in Bruck an der Mur and studies in Vienna, Knut Schaflinger worked as a freelance filmmaker for Bavarian television in Munich until 1995 . Then he was editor of the Tagesthemen in Hamburg until 2016 .

Schaflinger, whose poems have been published in anthologies , literary calendars, and literary magazines and received several prizes, made his debut in 1995 with the poetry book Dreiteile vom Licht .

Knut Schaflinger lives in Augsburg .
