The gmina wiejska Kolno is an independent rural municipality in Poland in the powiat Kolno in the Podlaskie Voivodeship . Its seat is in the city of Kolno ( Belarusian Кольна , Kolna ).

The rural commune completely encompasses the city of Kolno.
history
The urban and rural municipality of Kolno were merged into the urban and rural municipality (gmina miejska-wiejska) in February 1991 . On January 1, 1992, these were separated into two independent municipalities. From 1975 to 1998 the municipality belonged to the Łomża Voivodeship .
