Konrad Schuller
Konrad Schuller (born May 7, 1961 in Brașov / Kronstadt, Romania ) is a German journalist and book author.
Life
Schuller emigrated with his parents from Romania to Germany at the age of 15. After studying history and economics , he completed an apprenticeship as a journalist at the Munich School of Journalism.
From 1990 to 1992 he worked for the German service of the BBC , then he joined the editorial team of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (FAZ). Between 1995 and 2001 Schuller worked there as a Berlin correspondent. In 2001 he was part of the founding editorial team of the Frankfurter Allgemeine Sonntagszeitung (FAS), for which he reported as a foreign policy correspondent until 2004. Schuller has been the FAZ correspondent for Poland and Ukraine since 2004. In October 2010, the then head of the Ukrainian secret service SBU , Valery Khoroschkowskyj , admitted in an interview that Schuller had been monitored at times by agents of the SBU. Schuller occasionally publishes articles for the journal Internationale Politik .
Schuller is the author of the 2009 book The Last Day of Borów , a report on the Borów massacre in 1944. In 2014, he published the book Ukraine: Chronicle of a Revolution about the events of the Euromaidan .

- 2014 n-ost report award for the FAZ report Warten auf Beluga from June 2013.
- 2015 Theodor Wolff Prize for the FAS report Then they take a run and throw about the Ukraine conflict of January 2014.
