Konrad Wissmann (born March 17, 1984 in Hamburg ) is a German pop singer , songwriter , music producer and multi-instrumentalist .

Life

Konrad Wissmann grew up in Hamburg as the youngest of four siblings. He received piano and drums and singing lessons at an early age . Most of the things about music he learned autodidactically. After completing school at the Waldorf School in Hamburg-Wandsbek, Wissmann studied singing at the Hamburg School of Music. At the end of his studies he played in Franz Wittenbrink's Kiez - Revue Café Amazonien in Hamburg's St. Pauli Theater .

Career

In 2006 Konrad Wissmann founded the band Ruben Cossani together with the singer, songwriter and producer Michel van Dyke and the singer and drummer Leonard Valentin Lazar . After the three albums Daily Landscape (2008), All at once (2009) and Too good for this world (2012) and a farewell tour, the band broke up.

Role models and influences

Konrad Wissmann mentions Elvis Presley , Billy Joel and Robbie Williams as role models from childhood, and current musicians such as Feist and Peter Fox , chansonniers such as Charles Aznavour and Gilbert Bécaud , but also his former co-musician Michel van Dyke as musical influences .
