Konrad von Schubert
Konrad von Schubert , also Conrad , (born January 7, 1901 in Lugano , † November 15, 1973 in Homburg ) was a German ambassador .
Life
Konrad von Schubert was the son of Conrad von Schubert . His first marriage was to Ivonne Brewer from the Netherlands and to Claudia Naumann (* 1921) since 1941 and had a total of four children. He studied law and political science in Berlin, Bonn and Kiel. He passed the first state examination in law in 1922 and joined the Foreign Service in 1925. In 1927 he passed the consular examination and was subsequently employed in Copenhagen and Buenos Aires . On July 1, 1933, he joined the NSDAP .
From September 1941 to December 1942 he was a first-class legation councilor from the VAA information department and assigned to the command of the 6th Army of the Wehrmacht . From 1943 to 1945 he was a first-class legation councilor in Zagreb .
After May 8, 1945 von Schubert worked on the farm of his brother Carl von Schubert . On December 1, 1955 he was accepted into the foreign service of the Federal Republic of Germany and became chargé d'affaires in Amman , where he was ambassador from 1957 to 1962. From January 16, 1963 to September 1, 1965 he was ambassador to Addis Ababa . He had been a member of the Corps Borussia Bonn since 1920 .
