The Kopperburger Leide is a four-kilometer-long depression in the municipality of Wangerland in the Friesland district in the north of Lower Saxony .

The three-meter-wide watercourse in Jeverland , through which inland water ultimately flows into the North Sea , branches off from the Tettenser Tief between Altgarmssiel and Ziallerns . It then flows in a south-easterly direction between Hohenkirchen and Tettens and merges into the Poggenburger Leide near Poggenburg (south of Hohenkirchen) .

In earlier times the low served mainly for drainage and as a traffic route.
