Aunsø Sogn is a former parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Zealand . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Løve Herred in what was then Holbæk Amt , then to Gørlev Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which in turn became part of the enlarged Kalundborg Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local government reform .

On January 1, 2019, Aunsø Sogn and Viskinge Sogn were merged to form the Viskinge-Avnsø Sogn . (“Avnsø” is actually spelled differently from “Aunsø”.) This only relates to church matters. In its capacity as Matrikelsogne , i.e. as land register districts of the cadastral authority Geodatastyrelsen , such changes have not had any effect since the abolition of the Harden structure in 1970.

On October 1, 2018, 1,177 inhabitants lived in the parish, the "Aunsø Kirke" and the "Aunsø Gamle Kirke" are on the territory of the municipality. Part of the village of Svebølle is located in the northwest of the municipality.

Neighboring communities were Bjergsted Sogn in the northeast, Buerup Sogn in the southeast, Jorløse Sogn in the south, Ubby Sogn in the west , and Viskinge Sogn in the northwest.
