Buerup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Zealand . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Løve Herred in what was then Holbæk Amt , then to Høng Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which in turn was merged into the enlarged Kalundborg Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .
On January 1, 2020, 507 residents lived in the parish, the "Buerup Kirke" is on the territory of the municipality.
Neighboring municipalities are Reerslev Sogn in the south-east, Sæby Sogn in the south and Jorløse Sogn in the north-west, and Holmstrup Sogn in the north and east in the area of Holbæk Municipality . In the southwest the parish borders on Tissø .
