Bregninge Kirke

Bregninge Sogn is a former parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Zealand . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Skippinge Herred in what was then Holbæk Amt , then to Bjergsted Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which in turn was merged into the enlarged Kalundborg Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

The former church district "Alleshave Kirkedistrikt", which lay on the territory of the municipality to the west, became independent on October 1, 2010 as Alleshave Sogn .

On January 1, 2020, Alleshave Sogn, Bregninge Sogn and Bjergsted Sogn were merged to form Bregninge-Bjergsted-Alleshave Sogn .

On October 1, 2019, 1,311 inhabitants lived in the parish, on January 1, 2020 230 in the village of Eskebjerg and 410 in the village of Kaldred . The "Bregninge Kirke" is on the territory of the municipality.

Neighboring communities were Føllenslev Sogn in the north-east, Særslev Sogn in the east, Bjergsted Sogn in the south- east, Viskinge Sogn in the south- west and Værslev Sogn in the west . In the north the parish borders on the Baltic Sea .
