Bakkendrup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Zealand . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Løve Herred in what was then Holbæk Amt , then to Gørlev Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which in turn became part of the enlarged Kalundborg Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local government reform .
On January 1, 2020, 193 residents lived in the parish, the "Bakkendrup Kirke" is on the territory of the municipality.
Neighboring communities are Store Fuglede Sogn in the north, the smaller part of Sæby Sogn in the northeast, Hallenslev Sogn in the east, and Gørlev Sogn in the south and west .
