Raklev Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Zealand . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Ars Herred in what was then Holbæk Amt , then to Kalundborg Municipality in Vestsjællands Amt , which in turn became part of the enlarged Kalundborg Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .
On January 1, 2020, 5972 of the 16,295 inhabitants of the town of Kalundborg lived in the parish, the "Raklev Kirke" is on the territory of the municipality.
Neighboring communities are Tømmerup Sogn in the east, Vor Frue Sogn in the south and Røsnæs Sogn in the west . The parish borders the Baltic Sea in the south-west and north .
