Kirke Helsinge Kirke

Kirke Helsinge Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Zealand . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Løve Herred in what was then Holbæk Amt , then to Gørlev Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which in turn became part of the enlarged Kalundborg Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local government reform .

On October 1, 2010, the former church district Reersø Kirkedistrikt in Kirke Helsinge Sogn became independent with the abolition of the Danish church districts as Reersø Sogn .

On January 1, 2020, 1233 people lived in the parish, 532 of them in the Kirke Helsinge parish . The "Kirke Helsinge Kirke" is on the territory of the municipality.

Neighboring municipalities are Gørlev Sogn in the north and east , Drøsselbjerg Sogn in the south, Reersø Sogn in the west and Svallerup Sogn in the north-west .
