Gørlev Kirke

Gørlev Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Zealand . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Løve Herred in what was then Holbæk Amt , then to Gørlev Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which in turn became part of the enlarged Kalundborg Municipality in the Sjælland region on January 1, 2007 as part of the local government reform .

On January 1, 2020, 2837 people lived in the parish, 2443 of them in the parish of Gørlev . The "Gørlev Kirke" lies on the territory of the municipality.

Neighboring communities are Store Fuglede Sogn in the north, Bakkendrup Sogn in the north-east, Hallenslev Sogn in the east, Finderup Sogn in the south- east, Gierslev Sogn in the south, Kirke Helsinge Sogn in the west and Svallerup Sogn in the north-west .
