Værslev Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Zealand . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Skippinge Herred in what was then Holbæk Amt , then to Hvidebæk Municipality in Vestsjællands Amt , which in turn became part of the enlarged Kalundborg Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .
444 inhabitants live in the parish, the "Værslev Kirke" and the large stone graves of Aldersro are located on the territory of the municipality.
Neighboring communities are in the northeast Bregninge Sogn , in the east Viskinge Sogn , in the south Ubby Sogn in the southwest Rørby Sogn and in the west Tømmerup Sogn .
