Rørby Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Zealand . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Ars Herred in what was then Holbæk Amt , then to Hvidebæk Municipality in Vestsjællands Amt , which in turn was merged into the enlarged Kalundborg Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

On January 1st, 2020 there were 1508 inhabitants in the parish, 753 of them in Rørby and 251 in Ugerløse . The "Rørby Kirke" lies on the territory of the municipality.

Neighboring communities are Tømmerup Sogn in the north, Værslev Sogn in the north-east, Ubby Sogn in the east, Svallerup Sogn in the south-east and Årby Sogn in the west . In the southwest the parish borders on the Baltic Sea .
