Årby Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Zealand . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Ars Herred in what was then Holbæk Amt , then to Kalundborg Municipality in Vestsjællands Amt , which in turn became part of the enlarged Kalundborg Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

2001 inhabitants live in the parish, 413 of them in the parish of Årby . Årby Kirke is located on the municipality's territory.

Neighboring communities are Nyvang Sogn in the north and Rørby Sogn in the east .
