Føllenslev Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Zealand . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Skippinge Herred in what was then Holbæk Amt , then to Bjergsted Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which in turn was merged into the enlarged Kalundborg Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .
On January 1, 2020, 1605 people lived in the parish, 359 of them in the parish of Føllenslev and 948 in the village of Havnsø , which is partly in the territory of the Odsherred municipality . The island of Nekselø also belongs to the municipality . The "Føllenslev Kirke" and the "Nekselø Kirke" are on the municipality's territory.
Neighboring municipalities are Særslev Sogn in the south-east and Bregninge Sogn in the south-west , and Vallekilde Sogn in the area of the Odsherred municipality in the north-east . In the north the municipality borders on the Baltic Sea .
