Nyvangs Kirke

Nyvangs Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Zealand . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Ars Herred in what was then Holbæk Amt , then to Kalundborg Municipality in Vestsjællands Amt , which in turn became part of the enlarged Kalundborg Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

On January 1, 2020, 4027 of the 16,295 inhabitants of the town of Kalundborg were living in the parish. The "Nyvangs Kirke" lies on the territory of the municipality.

Neighboring communities are Tømmerup Sogn in the east, Årby Sogn in the south and Vor Frue Sogn in the north-west . In the west the parish borders on the Baltic Sea .
