Svallerup Sogn is a parish municipality ( Danish : Sogn ) on the Danish island of Zealand . Until 1970 it belonged to Harde Ars Herred in what was then Holbæk Amt , then to Gørlev Kommune in Vestsjællands Amt , which in turn became part of the enlarged Kalundborg Municipality in the Sjælland region as part of the municipal reform on January 1, 2007 .

On January 1, 2020, the parish had 1,186 inhabitants, 254 of them in Svallerup and 246 in Bjerge . The "Svallerup Kirke" lies on the territory of the municipality.

Neighboring communities are Rørby Sogn in the north, Ubby Sogn in the northeast, Store Fuglede Sogn in the east, Gørlev Sogn in the southeast and Kirke Helsinge Sogn in the south . In the west the parish borders on the Baltic Sea .
